Abstrakt

Following the original paper of Bell¹ the connection between the EPRargument for the incompleteness of quantum mechanics² and Bell's inequality is usually established by saying that the former suggests the existence of a local hidden-variable theory for quantum mechanics whereas the latter then allows to show that such a theory does not exist.³.
