Abstract

Arthur Coleman Danto (1924-2013) was one of the most influential philosophers of art of the twentieth century. He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the “Rivista di estetica” since 2007. The “Rivista di estetica” remembers him through six short writings by Tiziana Andina, Jonathan Gilmore, Lydia Goehr, Daniel Herwitz, Michael Kelly and Fred Rush.
