Abstrakt

Husserl's distinction between three strata of formal logic — pure logical grammar, logic of consequence and logic of truth — has been well recognized and much discussed in the secondary literature,¹ and may well have exercised some influence on the actual development of modern logic. But very little has been done to explain what he could have meant by "logic of truth' — much less to further develop that idea. I want this paper to be a contribution to that theme.
