Abstract

This book offers a critical introduction to the five key words in Heidegger's project: Sein (being), Da-sein (the essential nature of the human being), Ereignis (appropriation), Lichtung (clearing), and Geschick (the given historical conditions from which it might be possible for us human beings to achieve the essential greatness constitutive of our humanity).
