Abstract

The trend towards integration has been felt in recent times in every branch of social sciences as well as in the humanities. Actually, the term "integration" stands for several different things: the tendency to make research work more uniform, the tendency to co-ordinate it, and the tendency to reach interdisciplinary research. We will discuss each of these integrational tendencies in turn.
