Abstrakt

Jürgen Habermas has long been concerned with cognitive objectivity, although not under that name. His philosophical roots lie in the Frankfurt School form of neo-Marxism,¹ also known as critical theory. Critical theory should be understood in opposition to traditional theory, which is exemplified in the Cartesian approach that dominates the modern discussion.²
