Abstract

The Lvov-Warsaw School is famous for its great achievements in many fields of logic and philosophy, among them classical and non-classical logic, formal ontology, truth, philosophy of language, epistemology, philosophy of mind and praxiology. Induction and probability were not among the strongest areas where the disciples and followers of Kazimierz Twardowski worked.1 Still, our picture of this school would be incomplete without the recognition of its studies in this domain.
