In [Hestenes 1996, 247] David Hestenes eloquently and elegantly states "The insight that all multiplicative aspects of extension theory can be reduced to the single central product leads to the conclusion thatClifford Algebra is the proper completion of Grass- mann's vision for a universal calculus." In this paper (at the risk of being accused of spreading the MV/G virus) we provide an example to suggest that the additive aspects of extension theory must also play an important role in the completion of Grassmann's vision.
