This work was organized by the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology, Inc. ... to mark the transition from the second to the third millennium, which is also the transition from the first to the second century of the phenomenological tradition. About half the chapters take up more or less traditional philosophical themes or phenomenological problem-areas. ...
