Abstract

Our overriding concern in this and the next chapters is with two questions. First, does Husserl's introduction of genetic method have an effect upon his treatment of language, as it has on his description of perception? Secondly, how are we to understand the relationship beween perception and language, i.e., between perceptual and speech-acts?
